The Wise Owl
A wise old owl
Sat in an oak.
The more he saw,
The less he spoke.
The less he spoke,
The more he heard.
Why can't we be like
That wise old bird?

Bonjour Chacky,
Splendid poem. Who made it?
Owls are impressive animals. Some years ago, a White Lady (Effraie, Dame Blanche) landed behind the house, injured by an electricity grid in the field nearby.
I always remember those big eyes looking at me when I tried to help her. That deep look went right through me, right through.
