Entry 52

Last week one of my colleagues who had read my previous entry on travelling showed me some quotations in a small dictionary named : "Mariam Webster's of Quotations" ...
I read them & found them reallyyy interesting ...
I thank him and write them for my readers :
--- The time to enjoy a European trip is about three weeks after unpacking. __ GEORGE ADE, Forty Modern Fables
--- Traveling is the ruin of all happiness . There's no looking at a building here, after seeing Italy. __ FANNY BURNEY, Cecilia
--- Travel can be one of the most rewarding forms of introspection. __ LAWRENCE DURRELL, Bitter Lemons
--- A man who has not been in Italy is always consious of an inferiority. __ SAMUEL JOHNSON
--- Thanks to the interstate highway system, it is now possible to travel across the country from coast to coast without seeing anything . __ CHARLES KURALT, On the Road
--- Travelers are always discoverers, especially those who travel by air. There are no signposts in the sky to show a man has passed that way before. There are no channels marked. The flier breaks each second into new unchartedseas. __ ANNE MORROW LINDBERGH, North to the Orient
--- A man travels the world in search of what he needs and returns home to find it. __ GEORGR MOORE, The Brook Kerith
--- For my part, I travel not to go anywhere, but to go. I travel for travel's sake. The great affair is to move. ROBERT LOUIS STEVENSON, Travels with a Donkey cannot rest from travel; I will drink Life to the lees. __ ALFRED LORD TENNYSON, "Ulysses"
--- Travel is glamorous only in retrospect. __ PAUL THEROUX, quoted in The Observer
--- Extensive traveling induces a feeling of encapsulation; and travel, so broadebibg at first, contracts the mind. __ PAUL THEROUX, The Great Railway Bazaar

Dear Chackavak,I read your last piece about travel. It was wonderful, but I think TRAVELLIN is something which should be paid more attention too, especially about its experience.
Love,
Nally

The word "travel" always reminds me of this poem :I've always thought that I would love to live by the sea to travel the world alone and live my life more simply
I have no idea what's happened to that dream cos there's really nothing left here to stop me it's just a thought only a thought ...
